I can only assume they finally realized they only had so many colors available at the record plants. /s
Or maybe they’ve discovered a color they missed and want to crank out another 3000 in pomegranate ;>)
Most of the colour runs are supposed to be pretty small. I’m not sure they’d postpone the release on account of even a few of those. It has been suggested that releasing the album a week later is likely to improve its chart position.
McCartney says he’s been “channeling” with John in the afterlife to help him with a song he’s writing. I bet John, for amusement purposes, asked Liberace to be in his stead.
“Unforeseeable production delays” in others words waiting for the Christmas last minute buyers.
