There is actually a few other releases with Beatle connections. For instance, the soundtrack to the movie “Blindman”, where Ringo Starr as an actor plays the bad guy will be released by ABKCO. ABKCO Music & Records will release Blindman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on limited edition blood splatter vinyl, with new liner notes by acclaimed musician/songwriter Gary Lucas and a reproduction of the original film poster. The film, originally released in 1971, features music by Italian composer Stelvio Cipriani. For Blindman, Cipriani alternates between classically orchestrated soundtrack music and mariachi-inflected themes, staying true to the thematic motifs of the film. For several decades, the Blindman soundtrack never saw an official physical release (CD only, by Digitmovies in Italy, in 2005), and was previously only available digitally. This special edition will be the soundtrack’s debut on the vinyl format.

From the Dark Horse label, Stairsteps “2nd Resurrection” is also going to be released, as well as Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros with “Streetcore”.

First vinyl edition of the Blindman soundtrack. 1000 copies only.

Muy buen informe, gracias por compartirlo. Increíble la cantidad de lanzamientos relacionados al mundo Beatle. Me gustaría poder ver esas ediciones personalmente. Que tal la película de Ringo? Habrá que verla tan sólo para justificar su actuación. Es genial este blog, son mi fuente primera de información Beatle. Gracias y saludos desde Argentina

Culture Factory is to be avoided for their reputation of releases with poor sound quality. You might want to save your money.

  3. Rocco DeCarlo says:

Expect to pay between 300.00 to 375.00 US dollars per boxset.
