Talking of 'Come Together,' that's the only misgiving I have about the imminent '1+' collection… The 'Flash Animation' promo for 'Come Together (for the original release of '1')' was pretty basic even in 2001. Animation has moved on a million miles since then and the promo may look out of place with all the gleaming, restored films that make up '1+'. Maybe Apple should have got the people who did the intro and outro for the Rock Band game to do anew promo for 'Come Together…'

Ridware1, you're correct, a word was missing. Version #2 is the only one where Mal Evans appears undisguised, on all three versions he appears disguised during the middle eight, but on Version #2 he appears wearing his suit and a very good and long shot.

    Hey Miguel,
Thanks for providing this tremendously detailed promo information. Quite an incredible reference. Its stuff like this that keeps this blog the best and classiest Beatles news source among diehard fans.

why did they put a b&w version of Rain on the 1+ bluray?
why not using the ed sullivan's colour version as they used it for Paperback Writer

HI. The Ballad of John And Yoko Version 1 is totally different of version 2.

Begins and ends with 1968 photo of John and Yoko with black hats taken in 1968.

The First verse ("standing in the dock…") appears footage of You are here exposition inauguration.

Second Verse ("Finally made the plane in paris…") Appears footage of John, Yoko and Peter Brown arriving in Paris.

Third verse ("Drove from Paris to Amsterdam Hilton…") Appears footage of Bed In in Amsterdam

finally in last verse ("savin your money…) appears footage of John and Yoko leaving courts in 28-11-1968 after detention of Marihuana.
