The one they want to forget about

They're quite right to want to forget about this (whoever THEY are :).

The UK issue of this (reluctantly even by the exploitative EMI) of this Capitol piece of grrrr is certainly the moment that presaged a general fall in Beatles stock in the UK, not helped by an impending second UK singles reissue campaign which damaged Paul's solo stock (and was in turn damaged by his own self-inflicted Frog-related damage) throughout the eighties to the point where Apple's logo had disappeared for so long from their records that Apple Computer were primed to overcome the Beatle trademark for non-use (an untold story)

This should never be issued on CD. In fact, when time-travel is invented, this record should be prevented from being made by Capitol.

Don't forget that "Rupert and the Frog Song" was the #1 selling children's video cassette of 1985 😉 The UK press all seems to have taken this song too seriously, it was made for kids, not grown up critics! It went down famously with my son, as did the Thomas the Tank Engine" series!
