    Hello Uwe My Friend

In relation to your question .. a very good question indeed.

On UKMIX, I posted something in relation to your question [Yes I am Germanicus]

    https://www.ukmix.org/forum/chart-discussion/artist-chart-analysis/26393-the-beatles-charts-sales-history?p=11386532#post11386532

    I came across a website https://artisteschartsventes.blogspot.com/2016/12/beatles.html

It states that the Beatles charted 366 individual No. 1’s in 42 countries.

I have looked at my data and compiled an up to date No. 1 chart placement from various countries.

There are approximately 483 No. 1’s from my research [not complete]

I do have a Top 5 and Top 10 breakdown however I will leave at No. 1’s.

Where there is an = equal sign I have counted that as 1 placement. [Double A Side]

An [*] signifies not in my data as of now and is from the information sourced from :-

    https://artisteschartsventes.blogspot.com/2016/12/beatles.html

Hence the reason why it is listed as :

1 Martha My Dear – The Beatles – Portugal *

I will attempt to contact the administrator and find out more.

  3. Tony Littman says:

Now And Then was number 1 in the UK

  4. Stoneburner says:

I always wondered why Rock And Roll Music was featured in 1965/66 live sets in Europe and the far east, living in the UK I had no idea it had been such a huge worldwide hit!

  5. Steven Boettcher says:

My shock was seeing Anna on the chart for Brazil in 1967.
My disappointment is that You Know My Name didn’t go to number one anywhere. ☹️

      Hello My friend Steven

According to Billboard edition for the week of 28 June 1970 – 4 July 1970

and 5 July 1970 – 11 July 1970 Billboard states that You Know My Name reached 6 and 8 in Poland for those two weeks.

As for Anna reached No. 1 in Brazil, as recorded by Record World Magazine
      during the week of 29 October 1967 – 4 November 1967.
