Beatles event in Hungary and a new Ringo Starr biography

Hungarian edition – English language version to be announced.

In Hungary, celebrations are coming for the 10th anniversary of the Egri Road Beatles Museum on 31 May 2025, where Leslie Cavendish, the Beatles’ hairdresser, will be the featured guest. “The BlackBirds” Beatles Tribute band will perform and a new Ringo Starr biography will be released.

The book, 467 pages and covering the period 1940 to January 2025, was written over two years. Author Marsi József writes in detail about Ringo’s youth, the Beatles era, and his solo career. About 30 per cent of the book is about the Beatles period, but Ringo is the focus, so that part of the book is also about Ringo, in Beatles context.

The book is published in Hungarian today, April 30, 2025, but an English translation is in planning, a copy of which will also be sent to Ringo himself.

The book is currently sold out in several pre-orders and has become one of their most successful pre-ordered books.
