Allan and Beryl Williams

We have been informed that the widow of the Beatles’ first manager Allan Williams, Beryl Williams has passed away at the age of 93. Her husband died in 2017. Together with her husband, Beryl opened Liverpool’s first beatnik coffee shop The Jacaranda, where The Beatles used to hang out.

When her husband got the Beatles a residency booking in Hamburg, she and her brother Barry Chang joined the trip there.

She is in the famous photo from the memorial outside Arnhem in the Netherlands, her brother took the photo at this stop on the way to Hamburg.
