NME Poll Winners EP
Following last year’s release of an EP featuring The Beatles’s set at the 1964 NME Poll Winners Concert, here’s a follow up from 1960s Records, a company specialising in releasing public domain material from the big names in pop music. This time it’s the Beatles’ set from the 1965 Poll Winners Concert. The Beatles appeared four times on this star studded event in London, from 1963 to 1966. Unfortunately, 1963 was not recorded. The rest of the shows were filmed for television, but Brian Epstein had the television cameras turned off during The Beatles’ concert at the 1966 event.
Here’s the track list for the upcoming EP, due out September 18:
Side One
1. I Feel Fine
2. She’s A Woman
Side Two
1. Baby’s In Black
2. Ticket To Ride
3. Long Tall Sally
Last year’s release was this EP:
NME Poll Winners 1964:

2. You Can’t Do That.
Side Two

1960s Records and its label Rhythm and Blues has also released titles by other artists from the sixties.
“Brian Epstein had the television cameras turned off during The Beatles’ concert at the 1966 event” Without knowing, he turned himself, Brian did, into a great villain of music history… so sad.
oh stop. such arrogance.
