What started out as individual concert dates was eventually referred to by McCartney as a tour by the end of it. Because of this, concert posters etc were not uniform, they were all individually designed (check out the posters at our Live Solo Concerts site).
When the tour finally wrapped up in mid-August, these were the dates and venues played:
April:
04.04.2009 Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY, USA
17.04.2009 Empire Polo Field, Indio, CA, USA (streamed over the internet)
19.04.2009 The New Joint Las Vegas, NV, USA
July:
11.07.2009 Halifax Commons Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (televised on pay-per-view)
15.07.2009 Ed Sullivan Theatre New York, NY, USA (a short set, free concert)
17.07.2009 Citi Field Stadium Queens, New York, USA
18.07.2009 Citi Field Stadium Queens, New York, USA
21.07.2009 Citi Field Stadium Queens, New York, USA
August:
01.08.2009 FedEx Field Landover, MD, USA
05.08.2009 Fenway Park Boston, MA, USA
06.08.2009 Fenway Park Boston, MA, USA
15.08.2009 Piedmont Park Conservatory Atlanta, GA, USA
17.08.2009 BOK Center Tulsa, OK, USA
19.08.2009 Cowboys Stadium Dallas, TX, USA
It’s unknown whether footage from all locations will be used in the upcoming release (early rumours say only Citi Field concert footage is included), as reports from the fans indicate that every concert was filmed.
It’s likely to be a 2DVD+2CD package, and early reports suggest a retail price of around a whopping $60.
Very nice package!
I hope also in some soundcheck bonus songs!!
