Unseen Lennon photos
Long-lost photographs of John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their Make Love Not War protest in Amsterdam’s Hilton Hotel have turned up again, mixed up with pictures of the photographer’s baby daughter.
Nico Koster took a series of photographs of the couple during their ‘bed in’ of March 1969 but hid the negatives. ‘I’ve blamed everyone else for taking them,’ he told the dutch newspaper Telegraaf.
An exhibition of 24 of the photos opened Friday in Amsterdam’s Galerie Moderne, Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 44.
