Can you tell me where I can buy this 6 cd anthology set. Thanks.

  2. Brian David Hunt says:

It’s a four-disc set – the pictures you posted show the track listing for discs three and four twice, being the rear cover and the inside rear cover respectively.

  3. Quentin says:

Except for those two demos, what is new on this bootleg Anthology 4 ? What was not published on any Deluxe Box set of Revolver, Sgt Pepper, White ALbum, Abbey ROad and Let It Be ?

Isn’t it amazing, that, after all these years, new stuff keeps showing up? This is fantastic stuff!

I couldn’t agree more. This is like finding buried treasure and is far more exciting to me than any remasters, remixes or alternate takes

  5. Michael B. says:

there are “new” surfaced bbc recordings too, from Here We Go October 1962 show… I guess they are from new sources or maybe already known stuff recently cleaned up

  6. JPMacOriginal says:

Oops! Didn’t read it wrong? Your image of disc 5 & 6 is an image of 3 & 4

  7. Kevin says:

    Order placed, thanks!

  8. John says:

Where can I order this Anthology 4 Ultimate from?

  9. Andrew Harris says:

There is a third in limited circulation among high end collectors of “I’ll Be On My Way” recorded around the same time as these at the Cavern early 63. I suspect only a matter of time until this gets out there.

  10. Jim says:

Why aren’t these on Anthology 4? There’s so much stuff they could have put on there but instead they just filled it out with previously released stuff. Giles Martin needs to be replaced. He’s an insider and totally out of touch with what Beatles fans want. His Revolver remix was practically mono too.

  11. Geert De Wilde says:

I really like this brisker version of Misery! ‘I’m the kind of girl, who used to love the world’ – brilliant! In this more upbeat version, I can hear Helen Shapiro doing this really well! Shame it didn’t happen!

  12. Eric says:

What drives me nuts is the doubt that is brought on because of possible AI manipulation to make fake “demos” – especially in the case of Love of the Loved.

At some point will there be someone official to confirm these as the ones on the actual discs? And who could even do that? Ugh! I hate the doubt.

    • Michael B. says:

There’s plenty use of AI to correct demos or mixes on youtube, so many people tends to doubt about the authenticity of them. Also, a lot of people have known the bootlegs thanks to youtube, but they don’t know the history of bootlegs records, classic sets like Unsurpassed Masters, labels like Yellow Dog, or the Lewisohn books and what it’s been available, what’s not, what does exists, etc…

  13. Eric says:

Woo hoo! I emailed I Mark Lewishon directly and he confirmed both are genuine.

Full demo recording of What Goes On from 1963 from a publishing acetate. The song would later be workshopped and rewritten for Rubber Soul in 1965. John and Paul Vocals with Acoustic Guitars. Seems to be piano in the last 20 seconds as well.

      • PaulD says:

Thank you, duke_viking. Amazing to hear a 1963 version of what to me was always a 1965 song. A significant change in part of the melody too.

  14. DrRobert says:

Another 1963 leak – could they be prepping for another SDE of the earlier albums?

Seeing a consistent stream of related leaks makes me think of the ‘90s, when tape runners for Lewisohn would dub reels before returning them to vaults. It was then that we got CDs of studio-quality outtakes. Could these leaks be something akin to that happening again?

  15. HarvG says:

Thanks much for the heads-up about Anthology 4 Ultimate Edition!

  16. DrRobert says:

I did a breakdown between Anth 4 and the Super Deluxes, and there are 30 unreleased (officially) tracks on this set. I tried to be completely accurate, but there’s a lot to keep track of! Here are the new tracks:

    Disc 1 : 2-9, 11-14, 16-17, 25, 28, 30
    Disc 2: 13, 15
    Disc 3: none
    Disc 4: 2-9, 16, 20
