Theatre screenings worldwide confirmed

Yesterday, Paul McCartney confirmed that One Hand Clapping will be released to movie theatres / cinemas worldwide, premiering on September 26, with ticket sales commencing August 16th.

The Backyard Section will be inserted, as well as an introduction by Paul and still polaroids (likely by Linda) sprinkled throughout the film.  A dedicated website has been launched for more information about the screenings: OneHandClapping.film

Paul McCartney and Wings’ One Hand Clapping was digitized in 4K from the original video tapes (apparently not from the original Umatic master used for the version on the 2010 DVD), the dialogue between the songs was demixed with MAL, and the Atmos mix was created by Steve Orchard and Giles Martin. Here’s a sample.

I’ve never seen a videotape source for anything related to this project. Everything I’ve seen appears to be a kinescope of either a videotape, or of the live feed to a monitor. Has anyone confirmed that a direct videotape source ever existed for this project?

I was disappointed that Junior’s Farm was not in the cinema screening. Not to mention all the others they could have added. And the Backyard section was incomplete too.
