Isn't Blue Suede Shoes the only song that 3 of the 4 Beatles (John-Live Peace in Toronto, Paul-during tours in the past, George-Carl Perkins and Friends Rockabilly Sessions video) have either recorded or performed in public?

"WRONG YO-YO – No Beatles connection that we know of".

Isn't that the same song as Right String, Wrong Yo-Yo that the Beatles played in a medley with Take This Hammer/Long Lost John etc. on 31 january 1969?

Honey Don't and Matchbox are the only two songs that have versions of John, Paul, George and Ringo as main-singers (Well, i'm talking about records and bootlegs)

Honey Don't: John demo 1970, Paul soundcheck 2002, George with Perkins in 1988, Ringo apart of the Beatles version, he did it with the All Starr Band

Matchbox: John demo 1970, Paul live 1990, George live Palomino Club 1987, Ringo with Carl Perkins in 1985 (and the Beatles official version). And Matchbox was in the tapes of "Quarrymen at home" pre-1960.

Hey Unknown – you're right! I looked at the songs alphabetically and forgot that it wasn't just called "Wrong Yo-yo" when listed at the Get Back sessions. I'll update the blog post.

I was wondering if Blind Lemon Jefferson was ever properly noted as the true composer of Matchbox? He made a recording of this track as Matchbox Blues on March 14. 1927.

Hey Guille, John also sang Honey Don't (more officially) at the BBC…

And Paul's son, James McCartney, released a pretty true version of "Your True Love" on his EP collection. He's probably heard Dad playing it at home over the years? Take a listen!
