Still have my copy I bought the first day it released. I bought it at Wallach's Music City, Hollywood right next to the Capitol Records Bldg. Thought the cover was odd but then John's first book was too and I didn't give it much thought until friends at college started to tell me they couldn't get a copy of the LP – they were all gone – we found out the whole story before too long. I had no idea the LP would ever end up being so talked about for it's cover and be worth so much. It's now in special paper and the LP platter is stored in a different jacket so my Beatle one is protected from getting marks from the platter.

No matter how often I read Bob Whitaker's explanation of his concept, it fails to make any sense and in the sausages shot it shows that it didn't make any sense to the Fabs either.
What I really don't understand though is why he's never completed the idea as it doesn't sound as if there were ever any obstacles!

even if the butcher cover isnt about capital butchering the beatles albums for pure greed,it is well known the beatles were upset with capital for doing this to their albums.capital never deserved the beatles.they had idiots running that company saying the beatles singles would never be hits in america and the fact they wouldnt release them here.what whitaker said about the pictures doesnt even make any sense.i still think the butcher whitw coats is about capital butchering their alums.that makes more sense than what he said.
