No distributor? Surely Universal still distribute films – and Ron Howard's previous movies have, 9 times of out 10, been distributed by them, and his HQ is on the Universal lot… Curious…

A spokesman said that the film does not have a U.S. distributor or a release date yet, accorfing to Beatles Examiner

  3. David Brailsford says:

"Is he going to record office girls screaming the names of John, Paul, George and Ringo and overdub it to audience footage again?"

For the first time reading this web site I laughed out loud.

Sound like you were unhappy about that. What is the story, I don't know about that?

  4. Caveman says:

When Giles Martin did his remix of the soundtrack for A Hard Day's Night, he added in the sound of girls screaming The Beatles names. This wasn't an audible thing on the original sound of the film.

I'm reliably informed by Giles Martin (or someone pretending to be him) that audience sound in the new movie will include overdubs of Daily Mail readers shouting 'He dyes his hair!'

Yeh, it was okay for Giles to add sounds, and make a crap edit in If I fell, but he couldn't pitch correct the songs?? 😳
