Great Britain’s The Royal Mail is going to issue a set of stamps, featuring the one and only Sir James Paul McCartney.

Having already issued Beatles stamps back in 2007, this is the second time Macca is adorning the front of British postage stamps.

“An artist whose legacy is immense, but whose work continues to generate popular attention and critical acclaim. This dedicated stamp issue is a fitting tribute to one of the UK’s much loved and revered musical icons.”

The stamps are for sale from May 28 in British Post Offices (the ones still in operation) and other vendors, and online from The Royal Mail shop. Special presentation packs, First Day covers etc are also available. Pre-ordering has commenced from today, May 6.
